Year-3: 6-7 · stable but unremarkable · '25 the test year
Pry's December 2021 hire from Penn State was the obvious profile fit (Virginia Tech alum, longtime Beamer-tree assistant, defensive credentials). Year one (3-8) was triage; years two and three (7-6, 6-7) have stabilized but not progressed. The 2025 season is the make-or-break test — the ACC's reshuffled competitive shape gives the program a path back to relevance, and Pry has not yet found it. Provisional rank.
