Quinnen Williams

Williams' 2018 was the kind of season offensive coordinators built protections around. He won the Outland Trophy as a redshirt sophomore at a position that doesn't usually get the trophy, and his 19.5 tackles for loss are still the gold standard for an interior-line season in the era. The Jets took him third overall and have largely failed to surround him with anything; the Alabama version, against the SEC West and the Playoff, remains the master tape. He is the argument for why the position-by-position list of the CFP era still has interior defensive line in the top 20.
