Leonard Fournette

Fournette's 2015 — 1,953 rushing yards, 22 touchdowns, the Doak Walker, the only Heisman finalist who carried an entire offense through the SEC West and finished second to Henry — was the recruiting industry's most completely realized projection of the era. He was the consensus number-one running-back recruit in 2014 and was an All-American by the next December. The Jaguars took him fourth overall in 2017 and the NFL trajectory was less straightforward than the LSU years; the Baton Rouge body of work (the Florida game, the Texas A&M Thanksgiving rout) is the placement.
